What a disappointing to finish off agreat season in the premier division. The noosa tigers showed onsaturday what a class team they are by destroying the palm beachboys. The game was virtually over at quarter time when the noosa boysput 8 goals 3 to no score in the first quarter. In that quarter thepalmy boys simply lost the plot. They had 2 players sent off and aswell as their coach. It all came back to an incident involving petertromph, kneed a palm beach player and a palm beach player retaliatedand things just went pear shaped after that. At quarter time a palmbeach fan came out and started hurling abuse at the umpires in frontof their faces and it wasn't a fgood look at all for the team andthe league. With the game being over, noosa just turned it into atraining drill. They kept palmy scoreless again in the third and itshowed where palmy and noosa were at. Palmy were struggling and noosawere going on their merry way to back to back flags. Palmy only had 2winners all day I'anson in the ruck and he was just superb all dayfor them and arnold Knight just tried hard all day. As for thewinners, Brooks Durdin was clearly their best in my eyes. He justkept running up and down his wing all day collecting possies at will,sadly he wasn't given the best on ground honors on the day. Brettduke was. It was terrible to the end to the season, but the best teamall season got the cup and they deserved it. Good luck to them.
