The game of the round, I think will be happening this Saturday at cooke murphy oval. Labrador and Redlands should have a ding dong battle. Both teams will have a very different look about them this year to last year. Labrador as far as I know haven't lost many and have lost their coach and recruited a few younger players from Victoria. Redlands have recruited heavily again and will need a lift this year to play finals and maybe save the coaches job. I feel this game will be won in the midfield and across half back. Both teams have strong midfields and have match winners in the engine room. If either half back lines can repel any forward movement, it will go a long way to winning this game of footy
5 key players for Labrador
Trent Knobel. He might have to ruck all day. His ruck work around the ground was important last season
Tim Notting. Will have to kick a bag for his team to win I feel
Aaron Shattock. The rock in the back half. Needs to be strong again this year
Todd Featherstone. Classy midfielder and very under rated and he could be a key player this year for the tigers
Matty Clarke.
5 key players for redlands
Travis Johnstone will he be at his devastating best this season
Phil Carse. Another strong midfielder that will have to be shgut down
Daniel Dzufer. Can play every where on the park
Scott Clouston another strong player that can play back and up forward
Anthony Corrie another player that will play in the midfield and up forward. But he will probably up forward this year
even thought this game will be played at labrador. I think the bombers might just be to strong for the tigers in a close game that will be won in the midfield
