2010 NFL MOCK DRAFT - Update - 3/11/10

1.		Sam Bradford	Quarterback	Oklahoma	The Rams are most likely parting ways with Marc Bulger, and need a franchise QB. If Bradford's shoulder checks out, he should be the top QB in the draft.
2.		Ndamukong Suh	Defensive Tackle	Nebraska	The Lions have tons of needs, and DT is definitely one of them. Suh is a huge body, that is capable of getting a push up the middle, and wrecking havoc.
3.		Gerald McCoy	Defensive Tackle	Oklahoma	The Buccaneers need to get back to what won them a Super Bowl, and that is a great defense. McCoy would be the disruptive force they have lacked since Warren Sapp left.
4.		Jimmy Clausen	Quarterback	Notre Dame	Mike Shannahan get the Redskins a franchise QB. It is really time to move on from Jason Campbell, and get this franchise started off in a new direction.
5.		Russell Okung	Offensive Tackle	Oklahoma State	Kansas City needs to improve their offensive line in several spots. Drafting Okung will give KC a stud left tackle. KC could then move Branden Albert to RT or guard, where he is probably better suited.
6.		CJ Spiller	Running Back	Clemson	Seattle gets the best RB in the draft here. Spiller is fast, shifty, and explosive. He could become a premier RB in the league.
7.		Eric Berry	Safety	Tennessee	The Browns land the top Safety in the draft, and would be thrilled if the board fell this way. Berry is a ball hawking playmaker who has been compared to the likes of Ed Reed.
8.		Bruce Campbell	Offensive Tackle	Maryland	Al Davis loves athleticism and great 40 times. So they get Taylor Mays here right? Not so fast. The Raiders need a left tackle, and Campbell just showed he is a great athlete at the combine.
9.		Anthony Davis	Offensive Tackle	Rutgers	The Bills traded Jason Peters, and never properly replaced him. Their offensive line was awful last year, and needs major upgrading. Davis could give them a franchise left tackle to protect their QB.
10.		Dez Bryant	Wide Receiver	Oklahoma State	Jacksonville found something in Mike Sims-Walker in 2009. Outside of him, the Jaguars WRs are very weak. Dez Bryant has number 1 WR talent and size. He should be a big time playmaker for Jacksonville.
11.	(CHI)	Rolando McClain	Linebacker	Alabama	Denver could really use a big time linebacker, to play next to D.J. Williams. Rolando McClain is the best ILB in the draft. Josh McDaniels is going to continue his philosophy of building a successful team through great defense.
12.		Jerry Hughes	Linebacker	TCU	Bill Parcells loves to build his defensive front in the first round. Miami needs better linebackers, and Hughes could be an elite pass rusher in the NFL. You can also look for the Phins' to go for a nose tackle here.
13.		Trent Williams	Offensive Tackle	Oklahoma	Adam Synder was a big disappointment for the 9ers. They already have their left tackle in place, and now they should look to get a franchise right tackle. Williams would be a great value here, and could possibly start as a rookie.
14.	(DEN)	Bryan Bulaga	Offensive Tackle	Iowa	Seattle's left tackle position is in trouble. Walter Jones' career could be done, and there is no replacement currently on the team. In this mock I have the Seahawks taking Jimmy Clausen with their first pick, and now Clausen gets a left tackle to protect his blind side.
15.		Derrick Morgan	Defensive End	Georgia Tech	The Giants acquired Antrelle Rolle in free agency, and can look somewhere else int he draft. It appears that the Gmen have soured on Osi Umenyoria, and could look to grab the best DE available here. Linebacker is also a very big need.
16.		Jason Pierre-Paul	Defensive End	Southern Florida	With Kyle Vanden-Bosch likely leaving the Titans in free agency, Pierre-Paul would be a great option for Tennessee in the first round. Pierre-Paul is an athletic freak, who is considered by some to be the best DE in the draft.

17.	(CAR)	Joe Haden	Cornerback	Florida	With two picks in round 1, the 49ers have lots of options. They helped their offensive line with the first selection, and now they get a CB who can replace Walt Harris with the 2nd pick.
18.		Brandon Spikes	Linebacker	Florida	James Farrior is getting to the end of his career. The Steelers need to think about drafting a young ILB to be a starter. Nose Tackle and O-line should also be considered here.
19.		Sean Weatherspoon	Linebacker	Missouri	Atlanta could really use an outside linebacker. Sean Weatherspoon is widely considered the best 4-3 linebacker in the draft. He had a good Senior Bowl, and really had a great combine.
20.		Earl Thomas	Safety	Texas	The Texans have no had a play maker at safety ever that I can recall. They managed to pick up a decent SS in Bernard Pollard last year, and now they can address the FS position. Thomas is a ball hawking game changer.
21.		Mike Iupati	Guard	Idaho	Bobbie Williams is 33 years old, and the Bengals need to get somebody ready to replace him. Even if Williams is brought back, the Bengals have to think of the future here.
22.		Everson Griffen	Defensive End	Southern Cal	New England grabs a defensive end who is capable of being a 3-4 OLB. Griffen has a knack for getting to the QB, and could start as a rookie.
23.		Charles Brown	Offensive Tackle	Southern Cal	The Packers offensive line really needs to be improved to help Aaron Rodgers out. Brown is a very athletic left tackle prospect, who could fit right into the Packers zone blocking scheme.
24.		Carlos Dunlap	Defensive End	Florida	The Eagles need a better defensive end on the other side of Trent Cole. Carlos Dunlap is a physical freak, and has been compared to another Florida DE, Jevon Kearse.
25.		Jared Odrick	Defensive Tackle	Penn State	The Ravens grab a DT who could play DE in their 3-4 system. Trevor Pryce is getting long in the tooth, and this is a good time to get a replacement.
26.		Dan Williams	Defensive Tackle	Tennessee	The Cardinals made the transition to a 3-4 defense last year, and now they need to get a nose tackle. Williams fits what they need perfectly, and could really be a difference maker for the defense.
27.		Golden Tate	Wide Receiver	Notre Dame	Even with the emergence of Miles Austin, WR is a need for the Cowboys. Roy Williams, has been a bust, and Patrick Crayton is inconsistent. They would land a huge talent here with Tate.
28.		Kyle Wilson	Cornerback	Boise State	San Diego traded away their top CB Antonio Cromartie to the Jets. Quintin Jammer is also getting old, so CB is a very big need for the Chargers. Wilson could is a very fast cover CB, who might even be gone by this pick.
29.		Sergio Kindle	Linebacker	Texas	Rex Ryan really improved the Jets defense in one off season, and now he will continue to add to it. Vernon Gholston appears to be a big time bust, and could even be cut. Kindle is stud pass rushing outside linebacker that could even start as a rookie.
30.		Tim Tebow	Quarterback	Florida	Whether Brett Favre comes back for 2010 or not, QB is a major need for the Vikings. Many doubt Tim Tebow's ability to become a good pro, but I think he is going to prove his critics wrong.
31.		Brandon Graham	Defensive End	Michigan	Both Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney will be free agents in after 2010. While defensive end isn’t a major need right now, the Taking one of the talented ends here, may be too good for the Colts to do.
32.		Taylor Mays	Safety	Southern Cal	The Super Bowl Champs may have to replace free agent and defensive leader Darren Sharper. Mays is a very big, athletic kid, who could lay a big hit over the middle.

17.	(CAR)	Sean Weatherspoon	Outside Linebacker	Missouri	At 33 Takeo Spikes is getting a little long in the tooth. They could find his replacement in the draft. While Weatherspoon played OLB, he could also be a good ILB. He is a tackling machine, and had a great showing at the Senior Bowl.
18.		Vladimir Ducasse	Offensive Tackle	UMass	The Steelers Achilles heel, is their inconsistent offensive line play. Ducasse played left tackle at UMass, but could project better at RT or guard.
19.		Carlos Dunlap	Defensive End	Florida	Atlanta’s defense got very little pass rush from it's ends in 2009. Jamaal Anderson looks like a bust, and John Abraham had a really down year. The Falcons need to grab one of the many very good defensive ends in this draft.
20.		Kyle Wilson	Cornerback	Boise State	With Dunta Robinson most likely leaving via free agency, the Texans look to replace him in the draft. Kyle Wilson is a tall, fast, and very athletic CB. Wilson really impressed at the Senior Bowl, and earned himself a first round pick grade.
21.		Mike Iupati	Guard	Idaho	Bobbie Williams is 33 years old, and the Bengals need to get somebody ready to replace him. Iupati could replace Williams in 2011, and he might even be able to play right tackle.
22.		Jermaine Gresham	Tight End	Oklahoma	It looks like Ben Watson is going to be gone, so the Pats will look to add a tight end. Gresham was hurt for the the 09' season, but he had already been considered the top tight end prospect in 2008.
23.		Charles Brown	Offensive Tackle	Southern Cal	The Packers offensive line really needs to be improved to help Aaron Rodgers out. Brown is a very athletic left tackle prospect, who could fit right into the Packers zone blocking scheme.

26.		Dan Williams	Defensive Tackle	Tennessee	The Cardinals made the transition to a 3-4 defense last year, and now they need to get a nose tackle. Williams fits what they need perfectly, and could really be a difference maker for the defense.
