Super Bowl XXXIX 4th Quarter Video - Proof That Donovan McNabb Did NOT Throw Up In The Super Bowl
This is the entire 4th quarter of Super Bowl XXIX(Eagles vs Patriots) in it's original broadcast. Many have claimed that Donovan McNabb threw up in this game late in the fourth quarter. I have argued with countless dopes in chat who say they saw this happen during the game, but when I called them out, nobody could provide video evidence of this event occurring.
The fact is Donovan McNabb did not throw up at all. What happened was exactly what Terrell Owens claimed happened. Donovan got tired. I don't blame him for getting tired after he dropped back to pass 52 times, and was running for his life most of the game. He took some nasty hits from Richard Seymour, Teddy Bruschi, Willie McGinest, and the rest of the New England defense all game.
Now if you can see on this video where McNabb threw up, please comment this, and note the exact time on the video where it took place. Good luck finding it. You will have better luck helping OJ Simpson find the real killers of Ron and Nicole.

McNabb Injured By Another Panthers Cheap Shot
In this video you see Donovan McNabbb run into the end zone for a TD, and then get hurt from a cheap shot. At the goal line Donovan is met by #31 Richard Marshall, who attempts to tackle McNabb out of the end zone. Quinton Teal number 26 attempts to help on the tackle, but he flies past McNabb, and barely gets a finger on him.
The real issue is Tyler Brayton #96, and Damione Lewis #92 both seem to pile on McNabb after he is already on his way to the ground. Brayton in fairness really did not do much wrong, but Lewis was clearly late with his hit. Once McNabb crosses the plain of the end zone with the ball, the play is dead, and McNabb was actually hit while laying on his back in the end zone.
This is not the first time this cheap shot Carolina team has done this to McNabb. Back in the 2003 NFC Championship Game, LB Greg Favors also hit McNabb late causing a very similar rib injury.
The real joke of this is the NFL did not even fine anyone for this hit. Instead they chose to fine 7 Eagles 10 grand each for an excessive celebration play. The NFL clearly has their priorities in order.
Eagles Sign Jordan Norwood
The Rams signed WR Danny Amendola off the Eagles practice squad, and WR Jordan Norwood will take his place. I am surprised he is still alive after this hit by Taylor Mays.
The Eagles Defense Is Not 48 Points Bad
1. Kolb threw a pick 6. The game was already over, but that obviously is not the defenses fault.
2. Fumbled Kick Off. Saints get the ball at their own 20. You cant be mad at the defense for not keeping the number 1 offense in the NFL out of the endzone when they get the ball at their own 20.
3. Terrible Kolb INT to the LB Shanle. Even high school QBs know not to make that throw. That was just awful. Now the defense is once again put in a terrible position, and you can't be so mad at them given that short of a field.
4. TD b4 the half. Kevin Kolb throws BEHIND DeSean Jackson on a critical 3rd down backed up, and this was HUUUGEE. Now we have to punt to Reggie Bush, and of course Sav Rocca gets off a bad punt. Then comes the BULL ISH non facemask call that everybody in the world but the refs saw. Aikman even shows the replay and circles the clear foul. This was a 29 yard gain!!!!!!!!! The next play Brees just found a 1-on-1 with Colston on Hanson, and made the perfect throw. It wasn't like Colston got wide open like his first td, this was pretty good coverage, but just a much better throw. Brees is great, and it's hard to stop that.
So that is 28 points that really the defense can't be blamed for in my opinion.
The first drive of the game the defense got ripped apart, and Mikell gave up that TD to Colston at the end of it. That was awful. Then the Bush TD Mikell also was responsible. He was going to fill that gap, and tackle Bush, but just missed the tackle, and Sheldon had no shot with all that field to get Bush. This was a long drive were the Eagles defense looked bad, but they were already out of it by this point anyways.
Fumbled kickoff, Kolb's Ints, and the special teams made the defense look much worse than they actually are. They are not a 48 points bad defense. With McNabb starting + better special teams, the Eagles can beat the Saints.

Top Ten Reasons Why Madden 10 Sucks
- 10. Online games freezes after a challenge. This has happened to me countless times already, and is getting annoying. It is even more likely to freeze if you challenge a play in the 4th quarter. I pay money to be on Xbox Live, and it should never freeze!
- 9. Wildcat too difficult to stop. I hate trying to defend the damn wildcat. I just played some guy who used the Titans, and this guy ran the wildcat every down. Chris Johnson is already hard enough to stop, but now madden has this super cheese wildcat that makes it near impossible to stop.
- 8. Can't flip audibles. Now for whatever reason I run the best to the left. Well when i go to set my audibles for offense, I can't flip a run play to make it go left. This is just irritating.
- 7. What's up with every teams DBs being Super Stars? You can run a cover 2 defense, and manually move your safety to the line of scrimmage. Then after the snap manually drop him back, and somehow get 30 yards down field in time to make an interception. I don't care if the safety has a 99 speed, he should not be able to cover that much ground.
- 6. No formation subs. In the past you could pause the game, and then set up your subs on offense or defense to keep guys from getting fatigued, and to create better match ups. Now you can only sub while calling your play, and if your lucky you can sub in two players with enough time to call your play.
- 5. Press coverage works too well. Another reason why I say every team has Super Star DBs, is CBs seem to always be able to jam WRs at the line. You can press WRs all game, and never get fatigued. Also go routes are extremely hard to execute. The DB almost always has position, and breaks it up or gets a pick.
- 4. FIELD GOAL HOLDING PENALTIES!!!!! Damn this is annoying. They supposedly fixed this with the latest patch, but I am still getting them a lot. I had 3 straight holding calls on an extra point attempt today! I also just setup for a chip shot field goal with 3 seconds left, and I lost the game because of holding. WTF!!! In the NFL holding is almost never called on field goals. This has to change.
- 3. QB Sneak BLOWS! QB sneak is more than likely a play that will fail in Madden 10. Instead of being able to just drive forward for a yard, QBs now always dive to the ground. I tried to sneak on a 4th-and-inches with McNabb, and he fell right to the ground on his face. Turnover on downs. Why did Madden ruin this play?
- 2. Fight for the fumble every time? Now I think having a pile up for a fumble, and fighting for the ball was a cool idea. The problem is you have to fight for a fumble almost every time! Even when your guy clearly lands on the ball, if another guy is near by you better start hitting buttons fast!
- 1. CLOCK RUNOFF!!!! I HATE this feature. It is the stupidest feature in Madden history. It's bad enough that you only play 5 minute quarters in ranked games, but now I have to contend with the play clock being low all the time! It is especially bad on a change of possession. You get about 9 seconds when you reach the line, and if your play looks bad forget about getting an audible with a different formation in time. I have literally had to call timeout on the first play of the game, because the play looked bad, and the clock was winding down. Forgetting about motioning players too. You will probably get a false start. Whatever happened to being able to read a defense? Now I have to hurry up with everything, and it blows.

Santonio Holmes Is a Vick Fan
I like that Holmes had such a great game for my fantasy team, but he loses some cool points for the Vick jersey. Not a good move Santonio.

Madden Curse Sacks Polamalu
The Madden Curse has struck again. Troy Polamalu of the defending Super Bowl Champions, Pittsburgh Steelers, went down with an apparent knee injury in the second quarter of the first regular season game of the season. ESPN is reporting that the Safety suffered a sprained MCL on his left knee and will be out three to six weeks.
Starting with Madden NFL ’99, NFL stars brace the cover of the popular football series. Every player that has appeared on the cover usually end up injured of having a bad season.
For Madden NFL 10, EA Sports tried to mix up a formula a bit by having two cover boys, the aforementioned Troy Polamalu and Larry Fitzgerald, wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals.
With Troy Polamalu down, could the Madden Curse strike Larry Fitzgerald next? We might find out soon when the Arizona Cardinals takes on the San Francisco 49ers this weekend.

Patriots Cut Greg Lewis
Former Eagles shitty wide receiver Greg Lewis was told to go home, and not come back by the New England Patriots. G-Lew backed up what I had been saying for months that he is an awful football player, by having a poor preseason. Lewis only caught 3 passes for 58 yards.
I tried telling many Pats fans that Greg Lewis does nothing well, but they all insisted that this was a genius move. Greg Lewis is small, weak, runs poor routes, dumb, can't block, can't catch, can't return kicks or punts, and can't do anything right on special teams.
Greg Lewis is really poison to a football team. He does nothing well, and makes sure to screw your team in critical situations.
Eagles fans will always remember the 3 big catches he made in the 2004 playoffs, including the final touchdown in Super Bowl XXXIX. Since then he has done nothing but torture Eagles fans with pathetic play.
After making the original Saturday cut Lewis said,
“Things happen. You just have to deal with them’’.Sounds like even G-Lew was surprised he made the team at first. lol
Thanks for the 5th round pick New England. :-)
Good luck finding a WR lol

Vick Placed On Exempt List As Eagles Get To 53
The Eagles waived ... CB Trae Williams, CB Jack Ikegwuonu, DE Bryan Smith, DE Josh Gaines, LB Tank Daniels, FS Reshard Langford, WR Danny Amendola, RB Lorenzo Booker, C Dallas Reynolds, G Paul Fanaika, G Mike Gibson, TE Rob Myers, FB Marcus Mailei and FB Kyle Eckel. These players are now subject to waivers.
The Eagles released ... DT Dan Klecko, LB Matt Wilhelm and TE Matt Schobel. These players are now unrestricted free agents.
The Eagles placed QB Michael Vick on the Exempt/Commissioners Permission List. He will not be able to practice as long as he's on this list. He is eligible to play in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Eagles placed OT Fenuki Tupou on injured reserve.
No real surprises here.
DE Bryan Smith a 3rd round pick from last year just got flat out played by Jason Babin. I never liked the Smith pick, because he was too undersized to ever be a starting DE in the NFL.
Lorenzo Booker was traded for a 4th round pick last year, and he has been a complete bust. He doesn't run well, he has bad hands, he can't block, and he can't play special teams. Booker has no purpose on this team.
Kyle Eckle lost his job when the Eagles signed Leonard Weaver. Good kid, but the Birds only keep 1 full back.
Josh Gaines, Danny Amendola, and Jack Ike are good practice squad candidates. Amendola played really well in the preseason, and may even get picked up by another team. He just got lost in the numbers game at WR.
The rumored deal of AJ Feeley to the Patriots did not happen. I heard Reggie Brown possibly being in the mix, and the Eagles wanting a tight end were offered Alex Smith. The deal did not happen, and now the report is the deal is near dead. Brown, Feeley, and Smith made the final cuts, and for now remain with their team. There still might be a trade in the works with other teams though. Look out for that.
Shawn Andrews Vents in a Rap Song
I feel this. Everyone is saying Shawn Andrews is faking his injury, because he is a "mental case". The media and people who say this are morons. You don't get back surgery for a fake injury. Shawn is dealing with a lot of unfair criticism, and I'm glad he is not taking this crap anymore.
Andrews is not faking his injury, and he is not insane. He is suffering from depression, a very serious medical condition.
It seems like society in general really does not have an understanding of what depression is. Most people use the term depressed loosely for when they are having a bad day or feeling upset. Reality is, that people who suffer from depression feel sad or upset all the time.
Depression is not something that you can just snap out of. It takes lots of counseling, and most likely medication to fix a chemical imbalance in a depressed persons brain. Even with treatment, there is a good chance that a person will still suffer some effects of depression. Depression is treatable, but not curable.
Severe depression can lead to many self destructive things like drug abuse, poor hygiene, and in the worst cases even suicide.
Since Shawn announced that he is suffering from depression, I have heard so much ignorant nonsense. Shawn was portrayed as crazy, lazy, and made fun of because of his mental illness.
After seeing Shawn vent out how he was feeling about things lately, I decided I would vent on the situation as well. It is not right to pick on somebody for a medical condition they have. It is just as bad as poking fun of somebody who has cancer or Parkinson's disease. If you find humor in that then you are the one who is sick in the head.
