All I ever hear about is how terrible Philadelphia fans are. Every time there is some poor fan behavior in Philadelphia, I have to hear this long list of events going all the way back to my grandfather throwing snowballs at Santa.
Since I have this little forum to vent on, I will now point out other cities poor fan behavior, and give them the same treatment. Fair or unfair, that's what I am going to do.
Last night in the Phillies Cubs game at Wrigley Field, an idiot Cubs fans chucked a cup of beer at Phillies center fielder Shane Victorino while he was catching a fly ball. Shane still incredibly caught the ball, and the outcome of the play really did not change.
Phillies manager Charlie Manuel was visibly upset, and also argued that the beer interfered with Shane's ability to throw the ball to third, and hold the base runner at second. The umpires did nothing to help the Phillies in that situation, and luckily for them the Phillies were leading 12-3. If the Phils were losing Charlie would have flipped out, and probably would have been ejected.
Even the security at Wrigley field were too stupid to figure out who threw the beer, and they ejected the wrong fan. Later the guy who actually dumped the beer on Shane was seen slipping out of the stadium. Chicago Police are actually searching for this loser right now.
The funniest part of the video is when the security grabbed that nerdy looking Cubs fan up, a Phillies fan threw a bag of peanuts at the guy. It was the wrong guy, but still good to see that Phillies fans are ready to stand up for their team even in Chicago.
Cubs fans must love to interfere with the game. Everyone remembers Steve Bartman who interfered with Cub Moises Alou, and cost their team a trip to the World Series.
Victorino has done something that no Cubs fan alive has experienced. Being a Champion.
You can only call a team "lovable losers" for so long. After a while they just become losers.

The kid who threw the beer is is 3 seats to the left of the geek taunting Victorino. He is wearing a white tee shirt and a blue and white hat. He looks like a real punk.
