Michael Vick was conditionally reinstated back into the NFL, and everyone is speculating on where he might land. I'll tell you where Vick should end up going to right now. Hell.
Michael Vick is a p.o.s. and deserves no 2nd chance from an NFL team. Vick's actions were despicable, and to me are unforgivable. I don't care that Vick served his time in prison. These crimes are something he shall have to deal with for life.
I am glad that a majority of NFL teams have already publicly made the statement that they have no interest in signing the dog slaughterer. The few teams that are interested should be ashamed. I hope that if any of them sign Vick, that it becomes the biggest PR blow they have ever felt. I hope fans cancel their season tickets and disown their team for doing such a stupid thing.
Michael Vick tortured dogs for sport and profit for many years. That makes him evil. No amount of incarceration can change that. Tony Dungy as his mentor can not change that. He is evil, and will remain that way for life.
The NFL should realize that character should be held higher than talent. Every year the NFL draft is loaded with hundreds of talented players, and a guy like Vick is very replaceable. The Atlanta Falcons were able to land Matt Ryan, and their franchise is better off without the jail bird. There is no need to bring such a terrible human being into your company. If I owned an NFL franchise, I wouldn't even let Michael Vick be a janitor.
I am just thankful that the Philadelphia Eagles would never ever sign Michal Vick. The first reason being they already have a first ballot Hall of Fame QB in Donovan McNabb on the team. Second being that Michael Vick was a below average QB when he did play in the NFL, and thirdly everything else that I have outlined here. The Eagles wouldn't let Vick tear tickets at the gate. That is how much character means to them.
Send Vick to the UFL, or the CFL. Better yet send Vick to a construction yard, and let that be his second chance. Just keep him far away from the NFL, because he doesn't deserve another chance. Let the ghosts of the dogs he tortured and murdered haunt him for the rest of his life.
Michael Vick is trash, and trash belongs with other trash. You don't try and recycle trash, you just throw it away.
